ABOUT THE PATTERN
Instructions on how to convert your basic pattern into a sideways knitted dolman cardigan or sweater, how to position it on the charting sheet, and how to knit it, all in one piece. All you need to add are the ribbing and button band which is fully explained. Ideally suits a lovely self striping yarn such as James C. Brett's Northern Lights, as shown in the example garment.
EQUIPMENT
Any machine with a ribber and charting device.
SIZING
You will be using your own basic pattern, created with your measurements. If you don't have this, go back to the charting page and click to download free instructions on how to create your own pattern.
YARN
You can use whatever yarn you like, as long as it is suitable for your machine. It works well with one of the lovely self striping yarns available at the moment. Make one tension swatch and away you go.
