ABOUT THE PATTERN
You don't need to have a basic pattern to create these garments. The dolman can be drawn straight from your measurements.
It is a very versatile pattern, it can be adapted to create a whole range of sweaters and cardigans. Loose fitting, easy to wear and stylish.
The simple sweater is a very easy pattern to knit, and is created all in one piece. The edges can be left to roll, so is very quick to knit.
Only basic skills are required, including being able to use 'Holding Position' and how to pick up stitches from waste yarn. If you are unfamiliar with these skills, full instructions are given. The only seaming to do are on the upper and lower sleeves.
From the basic shape, you could also add edgings, and create cardigans.
Once you have your basic shape, you can use your imagination to create a range of unique garments.
EQUIPMENT
Any machine with a full size charting device can create these garments. Some of these example garments use a ribber to create an edging.
SIZING
As this is knitted sideways, there is no limit to the size you can create, including garments for children.
YARN
Any yarn can be used as long as it is suitable to your machine.
