ABOUT THE PATTERN
Instructions for adapting your basic pattern to separate the top section to enable it to be knitted sideways. This gives many design options, using stripes, self striping yarn or fairisle patterning. Full instructions for creating the design, placing it on the mylar sheet, knitting the garment pieces, joining and finishing off. 2 options for creating the top section.
EQUIPMENT
Any machine with a ribber and charting device.
SIZING
You will be using your own basic pattern, created with your measurements. If you don't have this, go back to the charting page and click to download free instructions on how to create your own pattern.
YARN
You can use whatever yarn you like, as long as it is suitable for your machine. The different colours of yarn will need to be sufficiently similar, to knit up to a similar tension.
